Really Welsh has helped bring a number of key Welsh lines back to Wales in recent years – not least daffodils to South Wales & Leeks to our farm in Flintshire, where we now grow and pack over 80 tons of leeks a week from late July to early May each season.
Really Welsh has also helped family producers get their ice cream into multiple retailers, as well as produce a ready meal range using vegetables from their own farms – all produced in Wales of course.
Charlie Lightbown (pictures in a field of Really Welsh leeks) was part of the inspiration behind this year’s leek run …. and is very proud of his achievements in leek growing – outstanding in his field you could say.
