Why Wales’ Alternative Food Festival? Well that’s because its very different and a little unexpected. We want to be more challenging and more entertaining with the theme of food. We want to have fun with it, cos that’s allowed. Irony too. There are few who will attempt to build a 10 foot cauliflower sheep in the middle of a town, just to demonstrate the issue of food waste. There are even fewer that will open an event in Olympic flame fashion by running across the county with a large Welsh leek to highlight the issue of food miles. That’s alternative, and that’s not all.
